Getting Ready for Christmas

Mason the "Christmas Elf"

Mason's class had been working hard on their Kindergarten Christmas Program! It was so cute watching them do the "Chicken Dance" and all their songs. They did a really good job! It really helped get everyone into the spirit of Christmas.
We went to the library where they read the Polar Express. All the kids got to take a turn wearing the conductor's hat and running the train. Mason took the job pretty seriously.

Let it snow, LET IT SNOW, Let it snow!
We got LOTS of snow! It was really fun!
Santa and the snowman needed a little repair work.
We did a lot of sledding behind the ATVs and maybe Mason got a little cold . . .
Delaney and Kalin had fun running around in the snow, trying to kill each other with snowballs, and making snow angels.
SCHOOL PROJECT
Kennedie and Kierra had an assignment in school to make Native American dwellings. They had fun gathering the materials and playing in the mud (I think Terry did, too).
Kennedie made a Wicki-up out of twigs and sagebrush. She even fashioned a tree out of pinion pieces. There is a little fire pit out of rocks.
Kierra made a Teepee out of real tanned deer skins (from a deer I got a few years ago), with a fire pit inside, and her own creative markings on the outside. Twigs and red dirt make it look authentic. Good job girls!
