Kelsie, Kalin and Delaney all had their fall music concerts. It was really fun to watch them all perform and see how hard they have been working. (I forgot my tripod so the pictures aren't really great...)

Delaney's was a costume concert - she dressed up as a hula girl, complete with a coconut shell bikini! She loves to play the flute and the band sounded great!

Kelsie's choir (Xpress) sang some songs from the musicals Wicked, Hairspray, and my fav. Footloose. They sounded great - it was really enjoyable and a lot of fun to watch them perform. Kelsie really shines when she's singing!
SLUMBER PARTY
Delaney had a few friends over for a slumber party (more "party" than "slumber" I'm afraid!). Whitni, Ashleigh, Kylie, Shelby and Delaney watched movies, sang karaoke, and slept in the garage. Garage?! Privacy has a high price around here, I guess.

DEER HUNT 2008
Kierra & Kennedie made this birthday banner for me - they love to draw and decorate!

This year both Terry & I drew out. We hunted high, we hunted low, we all had a great time enjoying the beautiful country we live in. We are so blessed!
The "Three Amigos" strike again... (notice Kalin's extra large vest and grandpa's teeny tiny vest). Terry's dad came out with us one day and drove us around. We went places in our old truck that vehicles probably shouldn't go - whether it was rocky, bumpy, steep or narrow, we were there. We had a ball! But didn't get a deer - dang!
It was fun to take Delaney, Mason & Kalin along. Delaney & Kalin were great to spot deer & hike with us. Mason, well, not so much. He mostly wanted to sing and accidently throw his toy boat or truck out the window - which we'd have to stop and pick up. But he had fun, and that's what matters, right? Then we left him at Grandma Ford's the next day.
While Mason was at Grandma Ford's house they made this cute jack-o-lantern mask. Mason loves it! I love how his little nose squishes out of it. He's pretty proud of it. They also made ice skates with paper clips for the blades.
The last night of the hunt Terry & I rode ATVs to an area called Poverty. It is amazingly beautiful there - and really dusty! It was a great ride though. We saw some huge deer taken out of there - but we weren't so lucky.
That's okay, we still got lucky!

MY BIRTHDAY
My actual birthday is usually spent wearing orange and hunting deer. (In fact, the doctor that delivered me even started my mom and rushed her along so he could get out hunting, I was born the night before opening day.) So we celebrated a few days later... Terry and the kids took me out to dinner, and when we got home they had a party waiting.

Terry made me a cake and Delaney decorated it. It was delicious! You guys did a great job - watch out, Rachael Ray!

Here I am blowing out the candles. Terry said there were 3 candles, one for each decade. What a good man! (Yeah, 3 decades, yeah, that's the ticket...).

Thanks guys, for a great birthday!
