Singing and Dancing

"Carnival Christmas" was the theme for the annual Christmas
festival this year. It's a great fund-raiser for the music programs
in Kanab. I'm in charge of collecting the donations for the
raffle baskets, which bring in a lot of $$ each year. It's fun
to watch the kids perform each year.
Here's Delaney performing with X-Press.

Kennedie and Kierra performing with the orchestra. It's
fun to hear them play and how much they improve each year.
I love the X-Press Christmas concert! They always sound so
beautiful - nothing brings the Christmas spirit like music.
I'm glad Delaney enjoys music and singing!
It was my favorite thing in high school too.
It was really fun to see Delaney and Kelsie perform together!
In keeping with tradition - the last piece they sing is
"Breath of Heaven"
They invite former X-Press members to come up
on stage and sing with them. I think it really means
a lot to the former members because they miss singing
with X-Press so much. It's a beautiful song - and X-Press
always does it justice. I love it!!
Our two singing girls after the concert.
Kennedie and Kierra had their winter dance recital.
Their dances were really pretty and they did a great
job! They look so grown up and so beautiful!
They are very talented dancers.
Their costumes and music were really pretty!
At the end, all the dancers came out for a bow. You could
tell they all worked really hard to be ready for this night.
The little tiny girls were so cute!
Cute, cute girls!
The orchestra had another concert at the elementary school
that Kennedie and Kierra performed at. It was fun to hear all
the fun Christmas songs, and see how much they've learned.
Yes, the month of December was a very busy one for us
with all the concerts and performances, but well worth it!
This is what they practice for, and they grow up so fast.
We better enjoy it while we can. . .
