We wanted to see the Kaibab before
all the leaves were gone, so we decided
to take a drive and go to dinner...

Before dinner we made a few stops to
check out some of the views. This was the
beginning of one of the trails we went on.
It was beautiful and quiet, with the smell
of pine in the brisk air...
a great hike we'd like to go on sometime.
Here's the bear that greeted us at the
Kaibab Lodge.
Inside was a cozy fireplace.
We just wanted to curl up in a blanket
and take a nap together!
But I'm sure that would have seemed
odd to the other guests staying there...ha ha!
Dinner was great! Terry had a full
rack of ribs - dang, that was a lot of meat!
There were some old photographs of the lodge
from the 60's hanging on the wall, and you could
see a bunch of deer right out the window.
It was really rustic and relaxing - heaven!
Thanks for being a great date, sweetie!
I love ya!!
