Cub Master.
Okay, now remember that
I come from a family of 5 girls - no brothers.
Kalin was only in Cub Scouts for a few months
after we got married, and Mason won't be in
scouts for a year and a half.
Which means: I know NOTHING
about scouts. I was a little worried (and little
sad to be out of Young Women's) but then
decided to just deal, and make the best of it.
I consulted with my sister Kristin

(Cub Master extraordinaire), and she hooked
me up with all kinds of info and ideas.
I still have no clue, really, but I did make
these cute drums for Pack Meetings
(I'm sure Cub Scouts are all about "cute" ha ha).
I have a bunch of tanned leather from
I have a bunch of tanned leather from
deer I've gotten over the years that I used
to make them and that will come in handy
for other projects I'm sure...
And WOW!
Look at my smart new yellow
shirt with patches that I get to wear!

Don't you look smashing in your sporty yellow shirt!!! I'm sure the YW will miss you terribly, but you'll make a great Cub Master. I think that's Steve's new calling. He has yet to get started. Good luck!
I think you look pretty hot in your yellow scout shirt :) You will do great in scouting you will be a pro by the time Mason gets there :) I love the drums they really are pretty cute.
You have a great attitude! This should be a fun adventure for both of us! Love that I get to work with you! Love that you posted a picture of you in your uniform! You're so funny!
Sweet shirt. It brings out the yellow in your eyes. Hee Hee. You will be great. You and Dickie Rock!!!
Kim, you are my hero. You may read what you wish in between these lines.
Just remember to tell the parents that they are mostly in charge of their Wolves and Bears earning arrow points, belt loops, pins. Den leaders do it, too, to make sure they have what they need to move up, but the parents play a big part. We would have had no clue if we had not been leaders for 3 years. The Webelos leaders pretty much do the earning of things as a den. There are tons of patches to be learned. I'll admit I liked it because it was during Kass' 3 years even thought we just had him in Wolves and Webelos. The yellow shirts are seriously attractive!!
