Happy Birthday to our beautiful country!
We are so blessed to live in this free country.
May we always remember those that
fight for those freedoms,
and never take them for granted.
and Kennedie & Kierra were in the parade.
So here's the rest of us waiting
So here's the rest of us waiting
for the parade to start...
After the parade Terry & Kalin went to Mt.
Carmel to golf. Mason & I went to the park
to check out the booths &
got some cotton candy.
and the hail and rain really came down!
Then, as fast as it came in...
it was GONE!
The sun was shining again!
for a BBQ. We had some GREAT food!
Janette & Holly made this salsa that was
so delicious - here's the recipe...
Avocado Feta Salsa
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 ripe avocados, chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 T. olive oil
1 T. red or white wine vinegar
4 ounces crumbled feta cheese
lemon or lime juice
In a bowl, gently stir together all ingredients (except feta).
Then stir in feta. Cover and chill for 2 to 6 hours.
Serve with tortilla chips.
more fun falling off the pyramid!
We lit some snakes and sparklers...
We lit some snakes and sparklers...because when he was about 4 he burnt
his hand on one.
Terry's office and had our own "Vacant Lot of Fire"
(similar to Provo's "Stadium of Fire," I'm sure! ha ha)
and watched the fireworks.
When we got home Kelsie & Kaylie
came over and we lit EVEN more
fireworks! It was lots of FUN!
