Mother's Day

Mother's Day weekend we went to Las Vegas to be there for Tyrus - now that he's 12 he was ordained a deacon! I can't believe he's 12 already!! He'll be a great Deacon!
It was fun to see everyone! Melinda, Keri, Kristin, me & our families were there. Kathleen couldn't make it.
Aidan & Mason were both sporting a snaggle-toothed grin!
Mom and some of her Mother's Day haul!
When we celebrated Mother's Day back at home, Terry surprised me by making dinner: Steak, chicken, and pork shishkabobs, grilled veggies, teriyaki rice, and pina coladas. It was all very yummy! I have the most amazing husband - I love him so much! The kids helped with dinner and helped clean up. They made me cute cards and gifts - very thoughtful kids!
The best thing about Mother's Day is how amazed I am that I am a mother. There were many years that I thought I'd never be a mother. Be careful what you pray for, you just might get it! I'm so thankful! A great Mother's Day with all the kids!
