HALLOWEEN PARTY 2008

We went to a Halloween costume party! It's so fun to dress up and act silly, and see what costumes everyone thinks up - there have been some dandies!! We played some games (the Newlywed Game gets a little crazy - but it's so fun!), broke a pinata, and enjoyed the tasty snacks that everyone brings. In true white trash wedding style, I brought a nacho cheese fountain (John & Kelly especially enjoyed that!).

This year we went as the characters in "Corpse Bride" in case you didn't know who the heck we were trying to be... I borrowed the dress from Kelsie, and got Terry's spiffy outfit at the thrift store and just re-made it. We got the "Most Original" award!
Terry really looked the part of "Victor!" He's a good sport to wear the wig and make up. He's just glad it's not the unitard that Danny Little wore last year (they borrowed it from the KHS drill team - I'm sure that was really comfy for him).

My wig did get caught in my eyelashes a lot, but it was a small price to pay to look like I'm dead.

Here's the whole crew. I think there were 22 couples that came. We had SO much fun! And it was really nice to hang out with not just one Palin & McCain, but two sets of them! I can't believe how creative everyone is! Everyone's great to pitch in and help with everything! Time to start thinking about next year...
