Delaney and I went to see her grandpa Garth in the hospital
last Saturday, and I'm glad we got a chance to say good-bye.
He passed away that night. His funeral was in
Mesquite - Delaney and I sang "Danny Boy" at it.
It was nice to see family and old friends there.

Garth was a great boss. Loved him. I was all set to go, then remembered that Deanne is Steve's cousin and that his mom would probably be going for Jackie, Deanne's sister. Steve's mom and I are the only one's who tend Addi. After we moved the only other times I saw Garth were at Deanne's parents funerals. It's been a while, but I was able to sit down and talk to him those times. Hope the service was ok.
