Deer Hunt 2010

The weather for the hunt was really strange this year. It
was mostly cold and rainy, which helped keep the dust down.
And then it turned really clear and nice - but still pretty
chilly, which was ideal for hanging our deer before we cut it up.
I know, thanks for the weather report, Kim.
The night before opening morning Mason gave grandpa
a "special deer hunt hairdo."
It must bring luck or something...
All bundled up in the back looking for deer.
Bros hanging out.
Some deer hunt snuggling ain't bad either!
Grandpa - the best deer hunt driver!
Teens with guns - sweet!
And they know how to use them.
Deer hunting Charlie's Angel's
Catching a few winks...
The view of Zion from where we stopped for lunch.
I got my whopper "Antoine" on opening day.
Kalin got "Gilligan" on Monday - great shot!
Then Terry bagged this giant on Tuesday.
All in all, we had a great time together out in the hills.
We hiked, sang, joked, had some great chili and some
nice hot chocolate! Ah, yes, this is thee life!!
Fruits of our labors: Great jerky and steaks!
