My Bloody Valentine

I had never given blood.

I have just had so many needles poked in

me over the many years of medical stuff that

I just didn't EVER want to see another needle

as long as I lived! Well, we decided that it was time...

so I made Terry go with me (he's a good sport!)

and we made a date out of it. Pathetic date, hu?! ha ha

Terry was a little nervous too, because

he tends to get little light-headed sometimes.

He passed out when Kelsie was born!

But he did great - felt just fine!

I did okay too!
I've heard it's good for you to give
blood, and now I see why...
I really feel great! And it feels good
to know I'm helping someone in need.
Can't wait for the next time!!
