Light Parade/Festival

Kanab now has a light parade!

I think this year was the second - I used

to love to go to the light parade in Cedar

so I was glad when Kanab started doing one.

It was REALLY cold this year!

The same thing happened last year:

it had been really nice weather, then

a day or two before the parade it turned

cold, COLD, CoLd!!

They always do an amazing job!
"Christmas is for the Birds"
was the theme of the Christmas Festival
this year. It turned out beautiful as
usual! I was in charge of collecting the
donations for the raffle baskets/trees.
It was a lot of work, and took a lot
of time, but it was nice to see it come
to fruition and generate a lot of money
for the KHS music department. I'm glad
we have a strong music program here - it's
great for the kids, and the whole community.

performed with the KES Strings group.
They did a GREAT job!

The girls also performed with
Xpressions. They sang some really
cute songs, and Kelsie has been
able to help with their group this year, too!
Delaney was supposed to perform with
the KHS band, but she had to be with
the basketball team at a tournament
in Valley. Darn!
It was a really fun day!
