Grand Canyon Field Trip

Delaney's class went to the

Grand Canyon

on a geology field trip.

It was a beautiful day!

But it was REALLY cold!

And I went along for the ride...

I love to go on field trips so I can get

re-aquainted with the kids in her class.

I used to know them all really well when

they were little and I used to help them with

reading in their classroom.
(I was really glad that James Holland went so

I'd have someone to hang out with - thanks James!)

We learned all about the different types of rock layers...

There were several places that their

were lots of fossils of all kinds

that you could see everywhere.

We learned about all the

different kinds of fossils and how

the bottom of the ocean was lifted up

into a mountain. I'm sure all the

kids were listening... ha

Kimberly, Andria, Brooke,

Maddie, and Delaney.

Then we ate our lunch really quick

and got on the bus that flew home

to make it back home in time to get all the

other kids home after school.
It was fast and furious,

but we had fun!
