Delaney, Kelsie, and I (and Delaney's friend Kate) went on a road trip to Richfield for the
All-Star Softball Tournament.
It was really hot & sunny, so they all

They played really well considering they
played teams with girls that were
almost all 16 years old!
On Delaney's team no one was over 14, and
most were younger than that.
They did play a team that was closer to their
age and they beat them by a long way.
They lost out in double elimination.
Kelsie & I hung out in the shade
and Kelsie watched a few episodes
of her favorite show on her iTouch.
After the game we wanted to get back to
our room and relax! We got a
movie from the Red Box at Albertson's, and
thought it'd be fun to get some microwave
dinners & popcorn. Just to be safe we called the hotel
to make sure they had microwaves in the rooms
(they said yes, they did).
So we got back to our room and guess what we found?..
NO microwave! I guess they failed to say
that SOME of the rooms have microwaves- not ours.
Well, we ended up going down to the hotel kitchen
that they prepare the breakfasts in - we got quite a
laugh at ourselves hauling our dinners through
the hotel to cook them.
And to top things off - there was no DVD player either!
I thought all hotels had DVD players these days.
I guess not.
So we returned our movie the next day - unwatched.
After the long, hot day we were glad to
