Delaney had her end of the year piano recital. She's doing really well playing the piano, and she's getting really good at it - she even plays on Sundays for young women's sometimes. But, she & I butt heads every week when it's time for lessons. I tell her she can quit, right after she quits sports - like that's going to happen. She'll thank me someday, right?
Delaney's in the KMS band, and at the end of the school year music concert she had a small flute solo. She did really well and actually really likes playing the flute. I'm glad we have such a good music program here! It was Kalin's last band concert as well, but he was sick. We missed hearing him play.
Kelsie tried out for Xpress again this year - and made it! She'll be the soprano section leader and is really excited about that - congrats Kelsie! She loves to sing and really shines when she's performing.
Kelsie sang in a quintet and earned a superior at state. They did a great job - it sounded beautiful! She has a lot of friends in music, some are graduating and moving on. Next year she will be the mighty senior!
