Sunburned eyes... Delaney went skiing at Brianhead with Aunt Tiffany the day before her birthday and had lots of fun. So much fun that she forgot to apply sunscreen...She really liked skiing, and learned from the pro!
Delaney's birthday was the Saturday before Easter so we had a lot of my family here. Delaney wanted a German Chocolate cake, and Aunt Melinda added the chinese symbols...??? We don't know what they meant and neither did Melinda. Yes, my family is strange. But we have a lot of fun!
She really wanted a cell phone, and was disappointed when she opened my old cell phone box. And as if seeing that old thing that wasn't disapponting enough, she found a candle inside. When we couldn't handle the suspense anymore we caved and gave her the real gift... hard to hide the excitment on that face! Reminded me of when Kelsie got her phone for Christmas and we made her wait until every other gift was opened and she thought she wasn't getting a phone (very SAD face!), then at the last sad little minute, we finally gave it to her. You could almost hear the Hallelujah chorus!
Another birthday cake... only with a crown this time.
A few of Delaney's crazy friends... they went on a scavenger hunt around the neighborhood, played Rock Band, and watched a movie. They had a lot of fun.
Two birthday kids. They are probably kicking each other under the table.
Kalin opening his gifts, and Mason giving him a massage... opening gifts just wears you out!
Kalin with his awesome new clubs. He's looking forward to golf season this year!
We threw a big birthday bash for Kalin. His friend Daniel joined in since their birthdays are so close. We had a BBQ, ate some great b-day cake (thanks to Elaine!), played football in the back yard, and the plan was that they were SUPPOSED to play Rock Band & Halo, but they ended up doing some other activities that they schemed up... it was a little crazy, but Kalin said it was the best party ever! It was, ummm..... interesting, I will say that. Elaine (Daniel's mom) & I had a fun time catching up and remembering old times (she & I went to high school together), and Terry tried to keep the boys rounded up. Oh, to be 15....
