So we decided to grow a garden this year.
We've been putting it off because we knew it would be a huge pain... yes, that
IS chicken wire under our
WHOLE garden! You see, we have
LOTS of rabbits & gophers that would love nothing more than to chow down on everything in our garden! So we dug it all up in sections, laid chicken wire down, wired it all together, back-filled the dirt, and attached it to the fence that will go around the outside. Good times.
Next year, after we know we don't need more space, we want to put a cute wooden fence around it. Wish us luck - we may be too tired to plant a garden now!

Oh, that brings back some great memories. We had great struggles with the critters in our yard too. Good luck!
