Draper Temple

We decided to take a quick trip up to see the newest LDS temple in Draper.
First, we drove to a near-by chapel where we parked our cars and watched a short video about the building of the temple and why we have temples. There were so many people that our short wait turned into a long wait. We moved from room to room, until it was our turn to get on the bus that would take us to the temple.
The kids were pretty patient considering they were cooped up in the car all day!
Here we are, with the Sherman's, on the bus headed to the temple. Finally :) The Draper Temple at night is so pretty! We didn't really get to see it very close because after we arrived there by bus, the walk up to the temple was covered by big long heated tents the whole way up to the front doors! It was nice because it was so cold outside. They really took care of the people coming to visit, they thought of everything! We are so blessed to have another temple to go to here in Utah.
While we were up in SL we took Kelsie to pick out her prom dress. It was really fun - she looked so pretty in all of them! She finally decided on this beautiful yellow "Belle" dress, although I'm sure she was temped to borrow my 80's prom dress! Ha ha. All the kids were watching a movie when Mason sat between Delaney & Kelsie, put his arms around them and said, "Hello, ladies!" in a really funny voice, then kissed each of them. I think he's been watching a little too much TV...
